Features
Everything Aula does
Everything below is built and works today.
Start with what you have
- Documents. Word (.docx), PDF, plain text and Markdown.
- Talks and videos. Transcripts and caption files (.vtt, .srt), such as YouTube captions or a webinar transcript.
- Recordings. Upload audio or video and Aula transcribes it, then drafts from the transcript.
- Anything else. Paste the text straight in.
- Limits. Up to 20 MB a document and 2 GB a recording. PDFs need to contain text, and slides need exporting as a PDF first.
Your name is on it
Built from how you already explain it. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
- Built from your material. The draft comes from your files and widely accepted basics, not a generic template. Aula is told not to invent statistics, case studies, credentials, testimonials or quotes.
- Written as you. Lessons are in the first person. If a lesson still talks about “the creator” or uses your name, Aula rewrites it in your voice.
- Figures flagged for you. Numbers that change over time, like tax thresholds, rates and deadlines, are listed on the lesson for you to confirm, with an “I've checked these” button.
- Nothing goes out unreviewed. Every AI-drafted lesson is marked “Needs review”, and the course can't be published until you've approved each one.
- Pick what to keep. Uncheck any module or lesson before you add the draft, or ask for changes and draft again.
- Rewrite anything. Change the order, the wording, the quizzes and the price. Add your own video or embed it from YouTube or Vimeo.
- Or skip the AI. Press “I'll build it myself” and write the lessons from scratch.
Your money and your students
Paid straight into your Stripe account. 0% to Aula, and everything exports.
- Paid straight to you. Checkout runs on your own Stripe account, so buyers pay you directly and Stripe pays out to your bank.
- 0% to Aula. On every plan and every way you sell, including memberships, bundles and coupons. The Sales page shows Stripe's fee and what you received for each sale.
- Everything exports. Download any course as a zip (JSON, which holds everything, and Markdown, which opens anywhere), and your students, sales, contacts and affiliates as CSV, whenever you like.
- Refunds you control. Refund a sale from your dashboard, and the buyer's access ends automatically.
- Your price, your way. A one-off price or free, monthly or yearly memberships, bundles of several courses, and coupons.
- Your brand. Your logo and color on your course page.
- Your team. Invite people by email as an Admin, Editor or Viewer. Starter includes 1 person, Creator 3 and Business 10.
After the launch
See where students stall, and what to fix first.
- Learner insights. Enrolled, started, past halfway, finished and active learners for each course, and for each lesson how many completed it, how many stopped there and how they did on its quiz.
- Suggestions, not edits. Press “Get suggestions” and Aula's AI reads the numbers and your lessons and suggests what to improve, with the most useful one marked “Worth doing first”. Nothing is changed for you.
- Email sequences. Sent by Aula when someone joins your list (with double opt-in), enrolls, buys or finishes a course, with a one-click unsubscribe in every email.
- You decide what changes. Mark each suggestion done, or dismiss it.
- Your words. You write every email in a sequence.
- Affiliates. Give partners their own link and a private affiliate page, track their commission and keep a record of payouts.
- Course-page A/B tests. Test the headline, description and button, see the results, and apply the winner in one click.
Teaching with AI
Your course keeps teaching after you've published it.
- AI tutor. Answers students from your course, in your voice, and asks you when it's unsure.
- Practice graded against your rubric. AI feedback in your voice, on every submission.
- A starting check and an adaptive path. A starting diagnostic lets learners skip what they know, with extra practice where they are weak.
- A course that keeps itself current. Stale figures, drop-offs and new material are turned into fixes you approve.
- Outcome stories. Learner outcomes turned into consented case studies for your course page.
Your course page
- Blocks and themes. Build course pages and your school home page from blocks, with four themes.
- Edit by chat. Ask for a change to your course page and approve it before it goes live.
- A sales assistant. Answers visitors on your course page from your page and curriculum.
Your students
A course people take at their own pace, a group that starts together, or time with you one to one.
- Self-paced courses. Lessons, video, downloads and quizzes. Students sign in with a link sent to their email and their progress is saved.
- Cohorts. Give a course a start date and a number of places, and release lessons on a schedule.
- Discussion. A space for questions on each course or lesson, which you moderate.
- Coaching and live sessions. Bookable one-on-one calls, free or paid, and live group sessions on your own Zoom or Google Meet link, with reminders and replays.
Ways to sell
- One-off price, or free. Set any price per course.
- Memberships and subscriptions. Monthly or yearly access to a set of courses, billed through your own Stripe account. Members cancel or update their card themselves, and courses you add later open for them.
- Bundles. Several courses for one payment.
- Payment plans. Split a price into 2 to 6 monthly payments.
- Order bumps. Offer an extra at checkout.
- One-click upsells. Offer a follow-up purchase right after checkout.
- Tracking pixels. Meta, Google Analytics, Google Ads and TikTok pixels, with a cookie consent bar.
- Coupons. A percentage or an amount off, for one course, bundle or membership or for everything, with an optional limit or expiry. Share one as a link that applies it.
